Ideal Land Services was established in 2019, when I shifted my focus and efforts into starting a land clearing business. The events and people that inspired me to do so started long before our company’s humble beginnings.

As you can see from the media on this page my family has a history of operating heavy equipment and performing land clearing services. Rusty, my grandfather, used the TD-14 & 15 International dozers as seen in the video to clear land on various properties, sometimes utilizing a heavy chain tied between the dozers to clear the underbrush.

Although I never had the privilege to meet my grandfather, I can’t help but believe that we share the same passion for land conservation. With my grandfather owning a construction company, Ideal Construction, and a father as a crane operator, it seems fitting that I too would pursue a business associated with heavy equipment and land management.

In 2015, after searching for some time for land to call my own, I secured a heavily wooded plot of land near Pledger, Texas. However, there was a substantial quantity of trees all varying in size, covering almost every square foot of my newly acquired 18 acres. I reached out to established businesses within the surrounding area and truthfully had a difficult experience getting any of them to commit to clearing it. Some would gladly come look, but always seemed to be too busy or just didn’t want to make time for me. Others would just simply never answer or call back. This would later bring me to the point where I had to ask myself; Why not just do it on my own?

I have always thought of myself as being self-dependent, as well as having the ability to quickly adapt to any situation that arises. These are qualities that I believe to be a vital foundation for what Ideal Land Services will become.
